Deborah Kruger has done a series of pieces based on the map of Cambodia, which is the last remaining habitat of the elegant and nearly extinct Bengal Florican. Missing is the third piece in the Cambodia series. The primary colors are red, blue and white. There is a striking empty piece in the center, a solemn reminder that without protection, we will find that our forests and skies will soon be empty of birds. So far we have used a detail of Missing for a latte mug and blank journal.
